State Government to Send Doctors Abroad for Exposure Visits
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhu announced that the state government is considering sending doctors abroad for exposure visits. A policy is currently being developed to facilitate this initiative. These exposure visits will provide doctors with the opportunity to experience advanced medical practices and modern technologies in other countries, enabling them to implement the best health systems in the state.
During a dialogue with faculty members and students of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College in Chamba, the Chief Minister emphasized that strengthening health services is a priority for the state government. He noted that approximately ₹3,000 crores are being allocated for this purpose.
