Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu inaugurates 26 development projects worth ₹333.25 crore in Chamba, promises improvement in health and road services.

The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, inaugurated 26 significant development projects worth ₹333.25 crores for the Chamba Assembly constituency on Sunday. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to accelerating regional development.

During the inauguration, the Chief Minister emphasized the state government’s dedication to enhancing rural connectivity, healthcare facilities, and infrastructure, stating that these projects will directly benefit the people of Chamba district.

Inauguration of the Medical College and Hospital Building

The Chief Minister inaugurated a new 200-bed hospital building at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College and Hospital in Chamba, constructed at a cost of ₹158 crores. This facility is expected to significantly improve healthcare services in the region. Following the inauguration, he interacted with doctors and paramedical staff to gain insights into their experiences, suggestions, and needs, and discussed the integration of modern technology in the college.
