Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni has released a revised fee structure for the academic session 2026-27. This decision was made after protests from students and extensive discussions. The university administration has made significant reductions in the fees for both undergraduate and postgraduate general and self-financing seats, providing relief to students.
According to the revised fees:
- The fee for UG general seats has been reduced from ₹68,700 to ₹49,500, providing students with a relief of ₹19,200.
- The fee for UG self-financing seats has been reduced from ₹1.27 lakh to ₹99,990, resulting in a decrease of ₹28,010.
- The fee for PG general seats has been reduced from ₹87,000 to ₹55,000, giving students a relief of ₹32,000.
- The fee for PG self-financing seats has been reduced from ₹1.42 lakh to ₹1.05 lakh, resulting in a reduction of ₹37,000.
Additionally, the university administration has also reduced other fees:
- Admission fee has been reduced from ₹15,000 to ₹7,000.
- Placement guidance fee has been reduced from ₹1,000 to ₹300.
- Refundable college security has been reduced from ₹2,000 to ₹1,000.
The university’s Public Relations Officer, Suchet Atri, stated that this revised fee structure will be applicable from the academic session 2026-27.
