The Himachal Pradesh government has issued an order for the revision of pay scales for Group-D employees and the payment of pension arrears for retired government employees.
Under this scheme, Group-D employees will receive a cash amount of ₹20,000 in August 2026, while pensioners will be given arrears ranging from 35% to 55%. This amount will be included in the salary and pension for the month of August, which will be disbursed on September 1.
This payment is being made under the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022. According to the state’s directives, regular Group-D employees will receive payment of arrears effective from January 1, 2016, due to the revised pay scale.
The Finance Pay Revision Department has issued a notification in this regard.
