Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the establishment of Himachal Pradesh’s first ozone-based drinking water treatment project during a public meeting in Baddlathor, within the Dehra assembly constituency of Kangra district, on Saturday. An allocation of ₹46 crores has been made for this project. He stated that this initiative is being set up to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people.
Sukhu mentioned that similar ozone-based water treatment projects will be established in other regions of the state in the future.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government has initiated the process of providing benefits to people under the ‘Chief Minister’s Sukhi Parivar Scheme.’ Surveys are being conducted in the panchayats to ensure that even the most marginalized individuals in society receive their rightful share of the state’s resources.
No Shortage of Funds for Development in Dehra
The Chief Minister also mentioned that sufficient funds are being allocated for various development works in the Dehra assembly constituency, and there will be no shortage of funds for development projects in the future.
